CONTROLE MESURE SYSTEMES offers Ultrasonic and Eddy Current Non-Destructive Testing systems for inspection of a wide range of applications.
CMS recently delivered and installed a complete Eddy Current inspection system for one of our customers in Europe.
The system comprises:
✔ A coil holder with encircling probe, Ø up to 16 mm: the coil holder allows the inspection coil to be centered and aligned with the product to be inspected.
✔ A Zet@Micro eddy current instrument (1 channel) mounted in a mini-bay: inspection results are displayed in real time on the screen, and a full inspection report is created after the inspection.
This specific application is used to detect short, transverse, surface and subsurface defects on brass rods, Ø 5 to 15 mm. Inspection speeds of up to 4 m/s are possible.
