Eddy Current inspection station for tubes & bars inspection

CMS recently designed and manufactured, for one of its European customers, a complete station for Eddy Current inspection of tubes and bars (Ø between 15 and 30 mm).

Each piece of equipment offered by CMS is customized to meet the customer’s inspection requirements.

In this case, the system combines a Zet@Micro Eddy Current instrument, a specific sensor, motorization and a marking system for detecting longitudinal defects on the surface or subsurface of products. ✔

The combination of tube or bar rotation and probe translation guarantees 100% quality inspection with helical pitch.

For accurate inspection feedback, Zet@Micro allows results to be analyzed and displayed in real time on the computer screen.
